IndieDevs started as a simple way for developers to showcase their projects and track engagement without building a full personal site. Most “link-in-bio” tools felt generic and didn’t highlight what actually matters to developers — skills, repositories, and real signals like visits or clicks. It’s built for indie developers, freelancers, and students who want a focused space to present their work, connect with others, and get discovered by tech stack or skills. The first version began as my personal tool; when I shared it online, dozens of developers asked to reserve usernames and test it out. That organic interest validated the idea — people wanted a lightweight, developer-first profile that helps them stand out and connect without turning into another noisy social network.
