A smart submissions platform to manage awards, contests and applications

$1000 MRR Productivity
Dapple is an all-in-one submissions management platform built specifically for the creative industry. It helps organisations collect, review, manage, and report on submissions in one simple, intuitive system. Whether you’re running calls for entry, awards, applications, contests, or pitch processes, Dapple replaces scattered inboxes, spreadsheets, and ad-hoc tools with a single source of truth. The problem it solves Creative organisations receive an overwhelming volume of submissions, yet most are still managed through email, shared folders, or tools that weren’t built for this kind of work. This leads to lost entries, inconsistent reviews, unclear decision-making, and hours of unnecessary admin. Existing software often skews toward large grants or corporate use cases, making it expensive, complex, and poorly suited to smaller creative teams. Dapple solves this by simplifying the entire submissions lifecycle—reducing admin overhead, improving transparency, and allowing teams to focus on thoughtful review rather than operational chaos. Target audience Dapple is built for creative organisations of all sizes, including literary magazines, publishers, festivals, galleries, awards programmes, and other cultural institutions that regularly accept submissions. It’s especially well suited to small-to-mid-sized teams who care deeply about creative integrity but don’t have the time, budget, or appetite for heavyweight enterprise tools. Validation story We built Dapple after literally hundreds of conversations with people working inside the creative world—editors, organisers, programme managers, curators etc. Early versions of the product were tested alongside these users with constant iterations being made. This ongoing feedback loop has helped us shape Dapple to move from MVP to paying customers.
